Editorial Board

The Editor-in-Chief is determined by the President of Pharmacology Weekly, Inc. with consideration or advice of the Editorial Board Members if applicable. The Editor-in-Chief may serve renewable 3 year terms.

The Editorial Board Members are nominated by the Editor-in-Chief and then approved by the President of Pharmacology Weekly, Inc. with the following factors taken into consideration for nomination: level of education & training, patient care experiences, teaching experience, background or discipline of medical training, and ability to meet the standards of the conflicts of interest policy. Appointed members will serve renewable 3 year terms that is on a staggering cycle for the purpose of maintaining continuity of Board responsibilities. Every effort is made for the Editorial Board to represent various training backgrounds and clinical practices.  

The following criteria are the requirements for minimum qualifications of authors/reviewers and sources of any health related content:

• Physicians: Graduated from an accredited medical school in their respective country, completed an accredited post-graduate medical residency training program, and are licensed to practice medicine.
• Pharmacists: Graduated from an accredited pharmacy school in their respective country and are licensed to practice pharmacy.
• Lawyers: Graduated from an accredited law school and are licensed to practice to law in the United States of America.
• Resident/Fellow: Graduate of an accredited professional program in respective profession and currently enrolled in a post-graduate training program.
• Students: Students will at minimum be actively enrolled as students in professional healthcare programs. Students are on the Editorial Board to provide an opportunity for their input and perspective of the information being published since they also represent a component of the intended audience. Students have no voting or approval oversight on any of the publications of Pharmacology Weekly, Inc.

Since Pharmacology Weekly, Inc., is owned and managed in the United States of American (USA), the Editorial Board will at minimum have at least 1 healthcare provider of each discipline who are licensed to practice in their respective fields of training in the U.S.A.
