In collaboration with Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing, Pharmacology Weekly is offering its live, comprehensive 3-Day Pharmacology Review Course at the Baylor University campus next to Baylor Hospital in downtown Dallas. Licensed practicing healthcare professionals such as Advance Practice Nurses, Midwifes, new NP graduates sitting for certification exams, and new PharmD graduates sitting for the NAPLEX are welcome and encouraged to attend. Up to 25 hours of CME is also availble for licensed providers.
Why Do You Need This Pharmacology Review?
If you are a student getting ready to graduate, a framed diploma on the wall is worth nothing if you do not have a license to practice. A delay in getting your license (because you failed or not adequately prepared for the test) is a delay in making the salary you have spent the last several years working for. Now is not the time to blow anything off, especially this standardized test. We are confident that you will not find a more comprehensive live review to prepare you for certification exams and your career as a healthcare provider. If you are a licensed practice healthcare provider, a lot of things have changed since you may have had a good review in pharmacology. In addition, there are things that you may have never learned or understood. If that is the case, then this review is for you. No matter what your background is or your level of training, we guarantee to teach you things you wished you had known in the past.
Can Other People Register Besides Seniors or Graduating Professional Students?
Yes - Absolutely. Licensed practicing providers looking for a refresher course to get up to speed on new and pertinent information will find the course remarkably useful.
Do You Have To Be A Subscriber Before You Can Register?
Yes. Why? The Pharmacology Weekly publications and online database are integrated into the review course. In addition, they will be referred to on numerous occasions throughout the review as they will help to bring concepts together. The publications not only supplement your preparation for certification exams, but also your career as a healthcare professional. The price of the conference has been reduced to accommodate the difference in your subscription costs, so in the end you would pay the same total amount regardless.
Are There Limited Seats?
Yes. In fact, the demand for the
review was so great that the original seats were filled within 2
weeks. Due to this increased demand, we are making some additional
seats available in a satellite classroom adjacent to the main review.
This classroom will receive the same quality of audio and video of the
presentations except Dr. Busti will broadcasting the lectures out of
the main room. Dr. Busti will periodically rotate to the satellite
classroom to field any questions that may come up. Note:
The satellite room also offers limited seating and will be filled on a
first come first serve basis by paid registrants. Once the seats have
been filled, registration will close for final - no more seats will be
offered beyond this.
Deadline for Registration: May 1, 2010 (All seats have been filled for this course)
